Local Stakeholders Consultation (LSC)
We are thrilled to share the successful launch of our ‘Plant and Prosper’ Agroforestry Initiative, supported by Infosys, through a vibrant and inclusive Local Stakeholders Consultation (LSC) held in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. This event marked a significant milestone in our mission to promote climate-resilient and income-generating landscapes across the region.
With the lively participation of 200+ farmers from across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, representing a diverse range of Argo-ecological zones. Their informed and willing consent to be part of this transformative program represents their belief in sustainable agroforestry as a tool for livelihood enhancement and ecological restoration.
This journey is more than just planting trees. It’s about building trust, fostering teamwork, and enabling true transformation at the grassroots. The energy, insights, and unity displayed during the consultation reaffirmed our belief in the power of community-driven change.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to:
· Mr. Rambabu, Chairman of our Governing Board, for his visionary leadership
· Dr. Kulvir Bangarwa, Board Member & Chairman – Technical Committee on Agroforestry, for his expert guidance
· Mr. Guruprakash Sastry, Head – Climate Project at Infosys, for his kind wishes and virtual presence
· Mr. Shiv Shanker and Mr. Rohith from Infosys, for their on-ground engagement and valuable support.
We are equally grateful to the government officials, NGO representatives, Gram Panchayat heads, and other respected dignitaries who joined us and shared their perspectives. Your encouragement and insights strengthen our resolve and purpose.
And finally, kudos to team PnP for their relentless effort and passion in making this vision come to life.
Here’s to greener fields, stronger communities, and a prosperous tomorrow!
